Cookware Sourcing Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll
be responsible for identifying and sourcing the best quality cookware sets at competitive prices for our
company. You’ll work closely with our product development team to understand specific requirements and
leverage your research and negotiation skills to secure the most favorable deals.
Responsibilities
-Conduct in-depth research to identify potential suppliers of high-quality cookware sets and utensils that meet
our specifications (material, features, design, etc.) for a limited catalogue launch.
-Analyze market trends and pricing models to ensure we’re getting the best possible value for our project.
-Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure the most favorable contracts for this specific project.
-Develop strong relationships with potential cookware suppliers.
-Manage and track sourcing activities for the project, including lead times, pricing, and product quality.
-Assist with quality control by reviewing supplier certifications and product specifications relevant to the
limited catalogue.
-Deliver a final report outlining identified suppliers, negotiated terms, and pricing recommendations.
-Stay up-to-date on industry trends, innovations, and new cookware materials.
-Maintain accurate records and documentation of all sourcing activities.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of international trade regulations (a plus).
Passion for high-quality cookware (a plus).
