QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

SWELECT is looking for an experienced and energetic person to create flawless manufacturing processes
and provide real-time feedback of requirement changes and provide information at a single source.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in development and implementation of production plans and schedules
• Monitor production and identify and solve potential bottlenecks or issues
• Ensure the production targets are met on time and within budget
• Manage and coordinate production resources including personnel, equipment and materials
• Assist with the procurement of materials and supplies
• Ensure that production processes are efficient and cost-effective
• Help train and develop multi skilled operators
• Supervise and support production staff
• Communicate production progress and issues to the Production Manager
• Maintenance of orderliness in the shop floor with good 5S and housekeeping practices
• Ensure effective employment of personnel and observance of times
• Ensure reduction of rejections and downtime and optimize cycle time and manpower
• Observe quality targets and coordination with quality assurance for reduction in non-conformities
• Assist in accounting of scrap materials and return to stores on weekly basis
• Assist in accounting WIP of materials in shop floor at the end of the month.
• Ensure production activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns
