Minimum Experience Required :5 Years of Experience in Procurement in food industry.
5 Years of Experience in Procurement only in Food Industry
Should have knowledge in Re-Order Level workings
Should have thorough knowledge in MS – Excel.
Should have knowledge in all meat, poultry, dry food stuffs, nonfood stuff, fresh fruits, Fresh Veg, Cheeses and Dairy Products.
Qualification : B.Com and Higher Studies.
Must Knowledge : MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel with knowledge in
Functions/Conditional Formula/Functions/Macros, Good English Communication.

Job Profile :

  1. Creates purchase orders from requisitions.
  2. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and
    delivery schedule for all local suppliers.
  3. Data entry and filing paperwork.
  4. Obtains price quotes from multiple suppliers mainly from local suppliers.
  5. Runs reports to help determine needs when required.
  6. Prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
  7. Issues purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and price
    are correct.
  8. Expedites delivery of goods to users.
  9. Maintaining the supplier files, arrange the files accordingly. Establishes and implements
    short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and
    operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness,
    and effects changes required for improvement.
  10. Creation and ongoing value creation with a world class supply base
  11. Development of organizational procurementstrategy
  12. Management of business process outsourcing activities
  13. Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities
  14. Selection and management of procurement systems
  15. Management of procurement items in (and across) sourcing, contracting, transactional,
    purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support
    activities
  16. Development of benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement
  17. Acts as negotiator between the company’s and vendors/suppliers on procurement
    contracts; keeps informed of all new developments relative to available resources; makes
    recommendations designed to reduce costs, update systems, and provide environmentally
    approved materials and services.
  18. Recommends and participates in the development of company’s policies and procedures;
    may serve on company’s planning and policy-making committees.
  19. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
